Wow. There are some amazing songs in this release. I'm not going to pick a favorite but, Adam John - Holding hands with death, I've never heard anything like it before, just awesome.

It's a real honor to be on this compilation.

A great compilation with great tunes. Nevertheless, bad tunes are also on this release.
Very nice front cover but what the *beep* is this ugly back cover? And why is my darkstep foot suggestion on it - without any consultation.

Here we go again the ID-Tags are not standardized. Is darkstep.org a serious netlabel - I don't know.

Normally I'm lucky enough to have some help putting these together (and even still I miss the dealine by a few weeks). I'm currently working 12-16 a day (for the past few weeks), so my quality control may have lapsed. :P

you can blame me for the ID-tags on the past releases since i collect the tunes before i send them to edgey (not this time )...will keep that in mind for future releases :)

Yeh, personally I think alot of the musicians got darker and slower - more broading this time around, less "hardcore aggressive". The first half slowly builds and gets more and more aggressive, then dives into more avante garde, experimental tracks with touches of darker IDM. This is what I was refering to when I said this was one of the more interesting compilations out there. Seems to me the music is changing. :)

for me,doing stuff for darkstep.org is a big help in progressing my skills for producing more broken soundz.
before,i was more focused to pure 4/4 soundz(in the way of producing,not listening)

I agree top notch release. And I'm not just saying that because one of my songs is on this compilation (a fact for which I'm very proud) I have been giving this CD a spin a few times a week. And I enjoy all of the tracks on it.

Thats one of my favorite features, is the progression of the tracks. Very well layed out. And as far as the music changing I agree as well. I think the way we all share ideas and are able to post up for feedback has been a huge help in our musical evolution, at least.... its that way for me.
